Patient #292
Necklift
Age: 47
The Patient complained of a “turkey neck”. He had always had a lot of submental fat and, after a 40lb weight loss, had a tremendous amount of skin excess. Normally wore a beard. On exam, he had laxity and jowling in the central neck skin.
Performed FaceTite and Morpheus on the face and neck to help the jawline and lower face. Removed central skin excess directly in the center and tightened the underlying platysma muscle. Closed with a Z pattern. Surgery was done under general anesthesia, but could have been done with sedation. Patient reported minimal pain, bruising was gone in one week. Scar is almost imperceptible. Photos – 3 months out. Neck and jawline are well defined.
